Grant Guidelines
The LaGrange County Community Foundation encourages projects that:
- Promote cooperation and avoid duplication
- Inspire and encourage additional funding
- Request seed money for exciting and innovative ways to meet unmet needs
- Reach a broad segment of the community
- Provide services that are normally not provided
- Help make charitable organizations more effective, efficient and self-sustaining
Application Deadlines
The LaGrange County Community Foundation offers two grant cycles. Deadlines are April 1 and September 3. Award details for each grant cycle will be announced approximately 10 weeks after each deadline.
Grant Agreement
If approved, each grant recipient must sign an agreement that includes the following obligations:
- Public acknowledgement of the LaGrange County Community Foundation's support
- Expenditure of the funds as specified in the application
- Return of any unused portion of the grant
- Complete a final grant report
- Any special conditions as mutually agreed
