LaGrange County Community Foundation is a growing public charity, established in 1991. Our mission is to inspire and sustain generosity, leadership and service in LaGrange County. We connect donors to charitable causes to create positive and sustainable change through grantmaking and community outreach.

In 2024, we awarded $943,233 in grants and scholarships in the areas of education, arts & culture, recreation, community development, environment and health and human services.

Operations Manager

We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Community Foundation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to details and passion for community service and development. 

This full-time position manages key administrative functions, oversees daily financial and data operations, supports internal coordination and staff needs, and ensures consistent, professional interactions with donors, partners, and the community. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations, facilities, and vendor relationships

  • Manage donations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial recordkeeping

  • Serve as the Foundation's key receptionist, welcoming visitors, answering calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff

  • Maintain the donor database and ensure accurate fund documentation

  • Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meetings

  • Assist with marketing and communications initiatives

  • Assist with planning and organizing Foundation events
