Grant Workshop: How to Apply for Funding

Feb. 28, from 10:00 – 11:00 am

Location: Community Room at the Community Foundation

New to the Community Foundation?

Do you have a project in need of funding?

Want to learn more about what we DO fund and DON’T fund?

Join Leanna Martin, our Program Director, and learn how to apply for funding through the Foundation.

The deadline for our Spring Community Impact grant cycle is coming up – April 3– and we want to help you prepare!

Each year, we seek to fund innovative projects and programs that address the critical needs in LaGrange County. Leanna will walk you through the Foundation’s application process, grant funding opportunities, examples of what budget documents we require, and provide tips on how to tailor a strong story.

We want to make the process easier for you and learn about your funding needs!

We accept applications from 501(c)(3) organizations. The Spring Community Impact Grant program offers six areas of interest: health and human services, recreation, community development, environment, education, and arts & culture. Our grant awards range from $5,000 to $25,000.

Don’t let the grant process intimidate you. We’re here to help.

This workshop is ideal for first-time grant seekers, organizations that are not familiar with us, and those who want basic knowledge about the Community Foundation's Community Grant opportunities.
