Westview Scholarship 


The Westview Scholarship was established to benefit all graduates of Westview Jr.-Sr. High School pursuing postsecondary education. The scholarship is administered by the LaGrange County Community Foundation. A one-time scholarship payment of $750 will be made payable to the college, university or trade school on behalf of the student. The scholarship does not cover room and board expenses. 21st Century Scholars are eligible to receive the Westview Scholarship.

  • Graduated from Westview Jr./Sr. High School within the last two years.
  • Completed at least one semester of coursework at an accredited college or university.
  • ‚ÄčEnrolled in an additional semester of full-time coursework.

Required Documents

  • An official transcript from the college, university or trade school confirming completion of at least one semester.
  • ‚ÄčAn official billing statement confirming full-time enrollment in the upcoming fall or spring semester.

Application Deadline

Students are required to submit the application and required documents a minimum of three weeks prior to the school’s payment due date. Students are solely responsible for any late fees that might be incurred. 

Information for 21st Century Scholars

  • 21st Century Scholars who are attending a private college or university are eligible to receive the Westview Scholarship.
  • 21st Century Scholars attending a state-sponsored school (i.e. IU, Purdue, IPFW, IUSB, etc.) are only eligible to apply the Westview Scholarship to required fees and books.  Students, whose required fees are less than $750, may use the remaining portion of the scholarship for books.  Those students must contact the Community Foundation’s Scholarship Manager, Laurie Sherck at lsherck@lccf.net to enroll in the Book Reimbursement Program prior to the start of the semester.
